This is the deluxe Ausfhrung. The paint is original from 1968 and still makes a good impression dafr. Also, the chrome is not faded.
At the front wheel arches are lower over the years, rust has formed, because there were once the mud flaps.
The engine runs beautifully clean and pithy, the transmission shifts beautifully. The shift linkage can move clean grease points thanks to good and is not worn out.
Last September, the Wartburg has got a new clutch, including thrust bearings, machine and printing plate, and thus was again smooth.
Thanks to the classic car registration, the free ride in the Wartburg yet so stressful environmental zones.
