Rolls Royce Silver Spur Turbo IV - One of only 507 turbocharged versions! Produced from 1980 to 1998, the Rolls-Royce Silver Spur was the last model created by the fire before the Rolls-Royce name became a part of the Volkswagen Group in 1999. Built on the same platform as its short wheelbase sibling, the Silver Spirit, the Rolls-Royce Silver Spur used the same 6.75 liter V8 engine as the previous models of the brand. A quite successful model, close to 19.000 Silver Spirit and Spur were built, nearly half of Which were long wheelbase track. In 1995, the final track Silver, the Silver Spur IV, gained a Garrett turbocharger while the short wheelbase Silver Spirit was canceled. This engine, that is mounted in the Bentley Turbo R, developed 300 bhp. Only 507 were built, making them the rarest of the Silver Spur series.
