Groove-to-bolt restoration 2006-2009
The car was completely disassembled The aluminum skin was removed. chassis and tubular frame sandblasted rust in floor pan and tube frame replaced with new plates (isolated seats of the aluminum skin on the frame) chassis and tubular frame primed and painted aluminum skin repaired and remounted on the frame bare body painted bumpers and chrome parts rechromed 3.7L replacement engine from Mistral completely dismantled, original motor unfortunately lost crankshaft bearings crankshaft with clutch balanced drilled and honed cylinder walls planned block and head made New pistons and installed Ventilfhrungen, valve seat inserts and valves renewed generalberholt starter and water pump motor with new bearingsn, full gasket kit and new chain installed gasifier at IOZ complete set gearbox (ZF Type 5/20) generalberholt ZF in with new clutch motor grown installed drive unit with new Silent rubber rebuilt engine Weber carburettor, new filter housing exhaust system fitted originally, later muffler chang changed (the original pot is easy to at bumps, but is available) New Hochleistungskhler installed new interior in leather All instruments generalberholt black < li> All rubber seals replaced (also front \u0026 rear) interior carpets and boot new all parts of the chassis sandblasted and powder coated black With new plastic jacks and new shock absorbers assembled Burmann Alder recirculating ball steering generalberholt leaf springs newly blasted rear axle generalberholt (Steckachsen, bearings, etc. installed) with new bushes For all external work and parts invoices are available. A photo documentation about all the restoration steps is available kilometers since restoration.
