This car has been imported from the United States in the late eighties and has been stored in a barn in the Netherlands since then, waiting for better times to come. After recovering a few years ago, the car was in a great original state. It has developed a wonderful patina and degree of charm over the years and has stayed authentic and Largely unmoleshed. Therefore the bodywork and interior trim of the car was taken and preserved in its original state. A five year - no expense spared - restoration was started on the chassis, engine and drivetrain.
Originally produced as a XK140 SE on February 15th 1955, this car was supplied to its first owner, Charles Neel Miller, Hollywood, California United States through the dealer Hornburg Jaguar in Los Angeles, USA. During its early life in the U.S., the car was fitted with a periodically correct C type head and H8 carburettor setup. Since then the car stayed until Largely unmoleshed recomissioning took place some five years ago.
