The Goddess (French Deesse = DS) is one of the classic cars with the highest percentage increase in value! This is not surprising, because in their appearance in 1955, these cars have ultra modern today as part of a science fiction. The design of Flaminio Bertoni was and is unique! The DS is now considered a prime example for successful industrial design and is therefore even in the Neue Pinakothek in Munich issued as such. The worldwide popularity of this vehicle rhrt not only from his design, but equally from the fantastic, yet very reliable technique.
The DS 23 Pallas we have of its second owner who had bought in 1975 as last year's car! The total mileage is about 78,000 miles! 21 years ago, the paint was replaced while the car is in beige Tholonet metallique (AC 085), a champagne metallic, repainted. This color was not original with the red seatss offered, and because we have the car, despite or perhaps because of the good initial condition, dismantled and rebuilt, we painted the car body in massena rouge (AC 423) and the roof in meije blanc (AC 088). A contemporary color combination as it fits to the goddess and her awards, at least under today's often ausgefhrten renovations, a special position. The play of colors from dark red and cream is not only the car body and the roof, but also to the rim, again the headlight housings and the interior of suede. With the 2.3-liter petrol engine, the 5-speed gearbox and the tinted glass it is a very lavishly equipped model of Pallas DS last generation. The work was completed just before Christmas.
