Caterham S3 Year 1996, garaged with season mark. The vehicle was built 2010 new.
Here, the frame was entplankt completely rusted and repainted.
Subsequently, the original frame with new aluminum panels used by Caterham new
planking, riveted, primed and then painted jet black. Hood and instrument cases are also new. Complete photo documentation of the structure exists.
By rebuilding the vehicle is in like new excellent condition.
The Caterham is driven only in nice weather in the summer and is otherwise in a garage over the year.
The following parts have been replaced or overhauled.
- Braking system has been overhauled,
- New windshield frame, heated (original Caterham)
- Complete new lighting system by Caterham
- Original Caterham switches and valves replaced
- Caterham new original rims with new tires semi-slicks
- New silicone Khlwasserschläuche
- Zahnriemen renewed
- All suspension bushings replaced

The vehicle has a total running since 1996 at present approximately 155,000 km.
In 2004, approximately 100,000 miles from Caterham, a new 1.8 liter Rover engine with original
Caterham Roller barrels and various other parts built. Here also, the clutch was replaced.
